When Your Organs Start Telling Their Own Stories 🌸

Hi 💛 My name is Lily Marigold. 🌼

Welcome to Inside Body Art — a space where the body doesn’t “break,” it speaks. 🌸 And we learn to listen to it — without fear, without shame, without a perfect checklist. 🌷

After 40+, my body put on a series of its own “exhibitions” for me: fatigue, strange symptoms, anxiety over test results. I found myself getting ultrasounds and MRIs — and suddenly I felt not only fear, but curiosity:
who inside me has been working without days off for so many years? 🌻

I came home, took out my paints — and started drawing my organs the way I felt them:
my heart as a garden that’s blooming and tired of watering everyone else,
my lungs as a fragile greenhouse quietly asking for air 🌿,
my stomach as a swarm of butterflies from nerves and falling in love 🦋,
my neurons as a tiny cosmos that never fully switches off.

This blog is not about “fixing” you or chasing “perfect health.”
I don’t diagnose and I don’t play the expert with ready‑made answers. I do something else: I translate the language of the organs into images and tiny actions that you can actually fit into real life. 🌼

I lean on my own experience (tests, symptoms, habit changes) and on intentional learning: courses in basic anatomy and physiology for non‑medics, materials on health literacy, and reading evidence‑based sources (from major medical organizations and hospitals), not random blogs. 🌱

Here you’ll find sections like:
“Picture of the Day: An Organ Speaks,” 🌸 “Symptom as Painting,” “Letter from an Organ,” “Nervous System Gallery,” “Organ & Habit,” “Rituals for an Organ” — and almost always, there’ll be a micro‑step at the end: gentle, simple, real.

And I want to say the most important thing right away:
you do not have to do “everything right.” 🌼
One tiny movement toward yourself is enough.

To get to know each other better, tell me in the comments (or as a reply to this email):
which organ is the first that comes to mind when you think about your body?
Heart? Lungs? Stomach? Nerves? Skin? Something else? 🌿

I’m glad you’re here.
Let’s start from the inside — softly and honestly.
